Help with setting price for Nob sale

Some help appreciated here.
I have an 03 3R that started life as a 5spd non LSD 3R. Was factory upgraded at 14k to 6spd and LSD.
It is on 26k now and i have just spent 6k on rebuild/clutch/turbo. Had 1k service/oil drop, airtcon regassed etc. New stereo system with upgraded speakers (and yes i can hear them over the engine!). DV and hardpipes fitted. Week after next its having front discs and pads, rear pads and a full set of tyres.
I expect to have done 30k by the time i find a new owner, so would sort out a 6k service too. Chips on front end are the only really shitty thing on car. M12 KOP included in the sale.
So a bit of an odd one. High miles, but low drivetrain mileage. I thought about 33k. Does that price sound fair. And would people be put off by the rebuild?
Definately selling, have no excitement for the car when i see it now.

Ajg. After all you've been through, you owe it to yourself to keep it, put all the crap behind you and start enjoying the car again. I sold mine a year ago and I'm now buying another one 'cos I've never missed a car so much. Get it all finally sorted, take it out on a lovely day and try and remember all the positive reasons you bought it eh?

Keeping it is not an option, decided to move abroad for good so will need to sell. I had toyed with the idea of getting it to Oz as a temporary toy but the cost/bond is way too much for my wallet so bye bye Noble. Hate to say it but i wont miss it. Met some great people and struck up some lovely impromptu conversations with strangers, but the whole experience has left me less than enthusiastic. Not the cars fault, mine for buying a lemon. Next owner i am sure will have years of cheap motoring.
Anyway, is my price fair? Thats all i need to know Want to get it advertised ASAP.

33k seems OK, I'm sure it would fly at 31 or 30. Depends how quickly you want to get shot of it?

As to the rebuild, be honest, and ensure all the bills are available for inspection. A chav looking for a cheap fix might be put off, anyone that has done their research won't be.

I'm not sure - at the (projected) mileage a dealer would be selling for the low £30Ks - IMHO. 10,000- 15,000 miler 3R's go for mid £30Ks.

I'd pay more for a proven cherised motor like yours though so just find the right person. Good luck.

As someone who's recently purchased a Noble, I think your price a little on the high side if that's the price you're holding out for. I expect once you advertise, you'll get a call from a number of dealers wanting your car however from my experience, they're offering c.£31.5k for lower mileage (12-14000) examples. They'll then mark them up for just under £35k for running a chamois over them tho!
On your side is the fact that there aren't many good examples on the market and at the end of the day, they've all got more chips than Blackpool sea front! Any buyer that's looked at a few will accept that. So, in summary, I think you could advertise it for that kind of money but be prepared to 'have a deal.' Everyone likes to haggle afterall.

I've been thinking about this as well, and as usual it's the game of it's worth what someone will pay. As someone who isn't very bothered about selling I'd take no less than £50k for mine, but considering it looks like the day I collected from Kerridges brand new, and has almost every upgrade you can get, and is probably the fastest 3R in the world it's actually good value. Hhmmm, not easy even thinking about letting go is it?

I'd say somewhere between 31k and 33k is a fair price for yours.

Phil, I'd like to take you up on this - I have a cheque for you here for £50,050 - who should I make it payable to? I've always like the Ford GT myself and feel this is a reasonable deal considering it is production number one and has some dubious ownership providence!

Thanks for the comments. I am not desperate for the money or to sell so i can hold out for the best deal. Rather it didnt go to a Dealer but to someone who wanted the car for what it is. I dont think its a cherished car, but i hvae seen far worse cars out there. Adam

My friend Dave sold his in 2 weeks from the advert on here..but it was one of the tidest cars I have seen. Priced for a simalar amount, but with a lot less miles.
