Bought a spare set of wheels a few weeks back. The spokes are fine but the rims were bad so I got Kerridges wheel refurb dude to polish them.

Yea, yea, yea, I know I'll have to look after them and not kerb them, but as my "show" set with Rosso's on I think they look great! (normal set will be getting striped and powder coated after Le Mans then shod with A048's)

Make sure you've got your sunglasses on, then scrool down!

Greg, nice - like when they were delivered (sort of!). Why don't you get a can of spray laquer and give them some protection before the tyres go on?

Now these are bling (and so is she!)...

They're standard 3R wheels that Kerridges have polished the rims. Ok, I missed out the polishing bit but that was in Greg's text.

No, I think Daddysumo's comment was about the bling wheels in my link - it's a joke mate! smile

These are a 2nd set that I bought. It was £50 per wheel and the refurb dude said that if I laqure them or put anything on them other than a proper baked on powder coat, they'd just tarnish again.

They advised me that I will have to keep them clean and wipe round them with a silicone sprayed rag every time I drive it, but I'm happy to do that for the super bling finish!!

Bit worried about kerbing tham though.

They are going to powdercoat my other set. They have discovered that if you pop them in the kiln to about 100 degrees, the fake bolts just slide out nice and neatly, then you can powder coat and properly bake to a super hard and inpenitrable finish.

Too subtle wink Like the idea of being able to powdercoat them if the worst happens and i kurb one. Would go for M400 anthracite look smile any idea of cost for the powdercoated ones?
I know they would tarnish over time with lacquer, but mine look fine after 25k and 4yrs, so sure it can only help
