I need some advice. Where to go and what to get done.

I live near Bristol and normally I goto the factory, which of course is not possible at the moment. I'm not keen on Newtown Motors so where else should I take my car. I would prefer a Noble dealer as the car has FNSH.

It's a 2004 3R with 36k miles. A few minor faults, spongy breaks and water ingress into one of the rear light clusters causing failing bulbs.

I have about £2000 in the kitty for the service and mods so what should I get done? I do the occasional track day (one coming up in July) so maybe the intercooler mod will be good.

Advice please.

i live in Bath and i always take my car to Ray at West Tuning...top fella and really knows his stuff. im sure he would give you good advice about what you should do to your car...given that he used to be a race driver and that he spends a lot of time setting up race cars for other people..im confident in his abillities.

Spend it on chassis set-up. -ve camber mod to uprights works a treat! Also I have AP grooved discs up front, they work really well with Pagid road/track pads.

I've used Ray before, and like you say top bloke and knows his stuff. But he isn't a Noble service centre so I won't get a Noble stamp in my book.

Not sure the noble service stamp is worth so much nowdays, as 3 of the best known/regarded service centers are now no longer Noble approved ( all due to the fact that Noble decided that only dealers who sell the cars can service them) which i find quite ironic as Noble dont actually make any cars at the moment!!

As long as you take it to a well known and respected garage I would say it would not reduce the resale value at all.



If you still want to pay main dealer rates I am afraid you are in for a long drive, I would suggest Mole valley.

The official factory dealer is peter smith sports cars in Hatton. Sure this would have the stamp you want and is the closest



Edit, noble wales is the closest, Newtown Morgan.
