As many as you want, just stick to the service intervals.
If you do a lot of track days, shorten the interval.
My M400 had 20k before it lunched itself, due to fuel starvation.

My first engine lasted over 50K miles (2.5L), and only lunched itself as a result of an incompetent dealer engineer.
I've no doubt it would have lasted many more miles.
I usually do about 5 to 10 track days a year, and as long as you keep an eye on all the fluid levels and do short runs on track you'll get a fair bit of wear out of an engine.
Without track days, and only 6 months use a year I recon you won't have to worry about an engine change for a while !

Mine lasted 24k, but i think that was down to dubious goings on to mask a oil pump issue. I would hope these engine if looked after with regular servicing would be good for nearly as many miles as the Mondeo/Jag/American equivelent. I also think that one driven every week will fare better than one sat idle for months at a time.

I think that's very true, with any car really. I don't drive mine much in the winter but I make sure I give it a run at least once a week, say 20-30 miles, if its been sitting in the garage for a while.

nope, none whatsoever i'm afraid.
there is every chance that a good 2.5 could be miles better than a not so well looked after M400.
There are some basics though... watch the oil level like a hawk and never track a car without a track sump.
Don't tune the car without uprating the fuel pump and check the fuel filter regularly.
Most of the big failures that i've heard about have been oil or fuel starvation related.
