Talking to the ECU
Discussion
Dear All,
So who can sort all this out?
www.sbdev.co.uk/Main.htm
www.sbdev.co.uk/Engine_Management_Systems/ECU/Easimap_Download.htm
www.sbdev.co.uk/Engine_Management_Systems/ECU/ECU_Main.htm
www.sbdev.co.uk/Engine_Management_Systems/ECU_Details/MBE_970.gif

That's very interesting. I've just downloaded the software. It appears it lets you look at the basic stuff but not things like error codes ( you need a password ). That's what I'm interested in, I don't wont to fiddle with any mapping or anything clever like that !!
Still, I'll knock up a cable tomorrow and see what it does !!

the passwords for easimap are so easy i guessed them after only a couple of attempts! they really didnt try too hard to keep them secret
If it's anything like the MBE in the cerberas though you wont be able to do anything .. in fact with std easimap you just get gobbledegook in the cerbera .. never tried looking in a noble ecu but imagine it's much the same way of "locking out" the casual tuner?

The passwords are easy to find if you search the net

well make it easier and tell us all.

You cant change stuff without the registry key, and only a few people have that, Noble and Roush on all ECU's rev B and above. Im sure someone on here will know better.
