Warning fuel/ potential fire
Discussion
i was with a mate in his Noble M12 (2.5) at a tracday last Friday. All was going well until just before lunch when he noticed a misfire. He left it for an hour over lunch then tried to start it, it fired once but failed to start.
We noticed some fuel dripping from an exhaust joint just after the turboat the rear of the engine but assumed it was dripping from above somewhere. We cleaned the plugs and after some cranking it started at which point it dumped about 2 to 3 pints of unburnt fuel out of the exhaust He immediately switched off and had the car recovered by the AA. I reckon we moments away from an explosion/ serious fire
