Waiting for my 3R
Discussion
Suggestions for helping the agony of waiting for our new 3R's:
1. Watch the Clarkson No Linits video of him driving (is it him?)the car and drool / slaver over the car.
2. Wait till the local Noble Dealer gets their demo 3R and book extended test drives.
3. Read the print off all the reviews and reports in the car mags. (New one in this months CAR mag)
4. Camp outside you local Noble Dealer and wait for your 3R to arrive.
5. Load up more search engines for Noble Pictures on web sites.
Hang on, I'm starting to become a sad bas...d. But I'm sure there are more?
PS. Doesn't Clarkson take some strange lines around Donnington in the Mini Cooper S on his No Limits video, even when he has a clear track ahead of him. Good job the Ferrari had got some brakes.

It's not that difficult to do a commentary whilst you are driving. I had advanced driving instructions from Bernard Aubrey (Ex Advanced Police Instructor and Porsche Insructor)and although it is a litte 'old school' now it makes you think further ahead of hazards, where you wish to place the car on the road, and generally be much more alert. For the cameras, they are positioned in the car to shoot from a number of angles so you don't have to talk straight to camera. (I'm a retired TV presenter).
Calm down old man. I'm just make a point that it is possible to commentate whilst driving (As Police advanced drivers do under instruction) This gives the instructor a chance to understand what the trainee driver is thinking about whilst he is driving.
I won't even go there regarding mobile phones.

Calm down - calm down - calm is my middle name
Running commentary where you continue to look straight ahead is different to turning your head sideways, talking, and then turning your head back. The first I agree with you (and probably is benificial in that you have verbal feedback to yourself), the above is just plain dangerous (particularly on a track!)

They said that 5 weeks is the norm for the crossing, then a couple of weeks to build ,but i will expect a little longer as there are a lot of things different on this car and they don't want to get them wrong. They will ring me as soon as the car arrives so i can take up some bits and pieces, done a factory tour in feb, colour jag racing green. As when i was up the factory i was going to have titanium cos it's the one i saw at the show and looked stunning untill i saw a special done for Sturgess. A GTO3 and that was it,had to have that colour.
