Is it worth it ?

Really like the Gallardo !!
Has any one had any experience with one and is it worth selling the noble for ?

Thrashed a rag top around a track for a couple of hours last year,imho its a better car than a 3R and easier to live with. if you tune the Noble i walks all over the Lambo and proberbly costs less.

In my opinion, if you can't afford to have a Gallardo and keep the Noble, thenyou can't really afford the Lambo.

Not to sound rude, but I think that a car like that is a super expensive one to own and so you need to be super well off to do it.

Ray (R4YMB on PH) used to have a gorgeous blue one and i loved it !! He always moaned about not being able to hang on the back of me on runs though. (and that was when my 2.5 was making about 330bhp)

I think they look a bit origami. Styling aside, nice to be in and easy to drive. Better engine sound than the Noble, but as Adrian says, if you throw a few good parts at the Noble, you'll walk all over the Gayardo.

Seen that car around the Denham R/about a few times.
Turned down a Gallado in favour of M400... Lambo's will be around for a while yet and I wasn't sure I would get another chance at a Low mileage M400
Thought about having another "supercar" but I can't afford a Late LP640 Murcielago
or heaven forbid a mclaren merc
Still if I do some man maths it could happen.... one day...

Servicing, maintenance and DEPRECIATION, i.e. running costs, or just servicing and maintenance? If the latter, that's way more than I would have guessed.

I had one of the early ones with e-gear.

I would say the negatives are as follows:-
Didn't like the e-gear at all.
The seats are uncomfortable if you travel any distance.
The ride height is too low and catches alot on speed humps.
The gearing is way too long for British roads - does best part of 90 mph in second if I remember rightly!

Its quick and handles well especially in wet with the 4 wheel drive, and build quality is superb also attracts a hell of alot of attention! Nice car but just lacked something from my point of view so I swapped it for a F360 which I preferred to be honest.

I had one for three days.

Nice, capable in the wet, but ultimatly unsatisfying.

Plus, expect to have the entire suspension mounts/bushes replaced every 10k or so if you drive it over potholed roads a lot. It's a £2-3k job apparently....

Certainly sir , there's a whole Northants Forum over here usually a few mini-runs on there as well as the main Northants Run.....although the last one was a bit wet !!!
