Greg, think you will struggle at Bedford..mine failed last year ( the time i turned up the wrong day!!) Saying that Nathan got black flaged that day for noise in his CSL, so it might have been the weather conditions playing a part.

Cat's in, you might make it. Cat's out, not a snow flakes chance in hell! I ran my M400 at Donington cat's out and the sound monitor bloke nearly p155ed himself. He thought it was highly amusing just how comprehensively I destroyed their noise limit.
Without cats i set off three alarms (the forth one was broken)nine times in one lap, when i was going down the back streight i was still setting off the alarm oppisite the pits. The marshall couldnt keep a streight face and the bloke on the radio was doing his nut. it was a freebie so it didnt matter.
I'm afraid it won't be newer as I have the M400 pipework on at the mo.
Its going to the highest bidder too btw.

Can't wait to pick it up. He has found a few issues with it that explain all the things that I didn't like about the cars performance and handling.

The most I've registered was at a static pre race check at Donington without CATS ... 108 dB.
I now take a spare set of tailpipes just in case but typically it's quieter in the drive by tests so haven't used them yet.
But without CATS at Bedford ...
... I think I'll be doing more test days from now on. Apart from anything else you don't have to form a queue behind people who won't move over for faster traffic.
