Anyone fancy a run to the coast this Sunday (that's the south coast for the midlander and northener membership!)...

I did the run on Sunday morning, C&C was there too. A somewhat 'spirited' drive driving zig-zaging down to the coast on twisty B roads - an excellent hoon There will be another on this route in the summer - highly recommended!

Bondy / TonyVan - good to see you at the sailing club

Conrad - Good to meet you again. I was going to ask you if you wanted to run back with us. Didn't see you as I was leaving till I looked in the rear view mirror and saw you by the car. Just as well really, we were going to blat up the A3, but went off on another B road route home and would have taken you miles out of your way.

No worries Paul. To be honest, I was a bit knackered, so took it easy back up the A3.
What an excellent run down though - I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Superb route, and really well organised. I think my favourite bit was driving somewhat spiritedly through that single track ravine/gorge section with 20 foot rock/earth walls on each side of the road!

Will definitely be up for another one in the future.

I only just made it to the sailing club (forgot clocks went forward).

Conrad, Sorry I didn't get to meet you. Maybe next time.

No worries - given hindsight I think that you must have been the good people sitting on the table near us at the sailing club (I was chatting to Paul - Humpy). I should have realised and introduced myself. Can't say I was totally "with it" - something to do with only a couple hours' sleep and an interesting drive.... Will definitely make a point of finding you next time!

That was me, the last to have breakfast (lucky as they closed it after us).
