Finally an owner

Now been an owner of a 3R for 24hrs and a full tank of fuel. Very happy so far. Think quite a few people on here will know the car and owner, and i think it is the cleanest example i saw for sale. I am not 100% happy with the gear change, reverse is a real pain for me, and i need to somehow get more forward adjustment on the drivers seat. Maybe redrill the rail an inch further back? Except for those two niggles i love it. I may sound odd but i dont find the forward momentum scarily fast (6th at 80-90 is amazing tho in how fast big triple figures come up). I do find the cornering damn scary tho. At 50% of its capabilities (maybe less!) it scares me with how sure footed it feels and how it laughs at my feeble ability. Taking it real careful as i cannot work out the width or length yet, and gusty winds seem to make her dance side to side a little more than i am used to.
The thing i love the most tho is the attitude of the general public to the car. After collecting her i pulled into a petrol station to fill up, and had two people come up to me to say hi. One had followed me in after seeing the car go round a roundabout (and wanted to have a chat about the "beautiful car" ) and the second guy just drove by and told me how lucky i was and how beautiful the car was. I stopped twice more and the Noble drew a crowd on each occasion. It was a nice feeling to have people genuinely interested in the car, as in a country of stiff upper lips it takes something special to relax them!
It has cost me about 100% of my total years income to fund this dream (i know alot of owners are more financially secure) but i know i have made the right choice.
Gonna treat her to a good clay/polish/wax/gliptone next week. would do it this weekend but i have a feeling i may be too busy driving!

Well done for having the balls to make such a financial commitment - you clearly are a person after my own heart (my Audi Ur-Quattro was a similar investment for me when I originally bought it), and absolutly delighted for you that you are enjoying it so much.
Trust me, the grin only gets smaller because your mouth will hurt so much!

You'll find being part of the Nobility is bloody fantastic. 
Thanks for the welcome. Must have seem some of your cars at the Goodwood meetup on the A3 a few weeks ago.
Most people thought i was mad to go the route of supercar vs conventional living (i am 32 so it is perceived i should have a millstone mortgage/kids/nagging wife by this age), but most people who have now seen the car understand why this decision was easy for me to make

Yes it is Jasons old car, Titanium and Burgondy. He has kept it so immaculate i am really scared i am going to be the first one to kurb an alloy or reverse into something! Going out later to measure the size difference over my last car, hopefully to give me some more confidence!!! Bring on the sun!!
PS anyone else with a sub 30" inside leg have trouble getting the pedals down to the floor?

Any idea on cost? i could take the rails out and drill/reweld nuts on myself, but i dont know how easy the bolts are to get to from underneath. And yes, you have gone mad
