Bastards!!! Someone obviously thought my car would look better with swirly scratches all over the roof.
Now what do you reckon... deliberate mindless vandalism or some fool putting a dirty bag on top of the car.
I was quite surprised since I've parked two separate Porsche 993s there and they never got vandalised - and I'd assume that Porsches would attract more of that sort of 'attention'...
At least they didn't key it or break anything.
What's best for making swirly scratches look less obvious??

Don't panic, Mr.Mannering!
You just might be amazed how effective stuff like the Zymol pre-waxer is at 'filling in' such annoying defacements; had a similar thing on the bonnet of me barge recently and said stuff worked wonders - only bugger is, you have to keep reapplying every week or two as the marks creep back into visibility.
But basically, the morons who dare defile such a wondrous thing should be cast in irons forthwith.
Good luck anyway.

Bummer - someone run a key down the X5 and I've had a "hit and run" on the X5 and Elise.
Hope the Zymol stuff works out OK - also you could borrow my Swizol scratch remover, putty and cleaner if you like (I could bring the whole kit easily on Monday for you to borrow for the week and drop it back) - similar stuff to the Zymol but more "permanant".

Cheers joust - is that an abrasive cutting polish thing?? Not sure about the thickness of the paint on the Noble, and it'd be just my luck to end up polishing all the paint off
Besides it may have a bunch of new scratches on Monday if I get overenthusiastic at Paddock.... now that corner is a laugh, mwuaahaahaahaa
Sorry to hear of the aggro to your other cars - bodywork damage on the Elise is a pain...

Yep - but it only removes a single layer of paint.

I am sorry to hear about this mindless act. To try and put a smile on your face - do you remember in the late 80's when orrible oiks were prising VW badges off Volkswagen Golfs? You might recall Heineken ran a brilliant ad:
There was a punk admiring his recently nicked VW badge which was worn as a medallion. He then opened a can of Heineken and took a slug. Suddenly a Volkswagen Golf fell out of the sky and crushed the little bas**rd. the tag line being "Heineken refreshes the parts other beers cannot reach."
I hope that makes you feel slightly better.
