www.lotus-on-track.com/

You need to be a member of LoT.

If you aren't already then you should as they are great and its normally Elises and VX's only, but they do allow faster cars on. (ie. GT3's Nobles CSL's) but no chavs and rarely TVR's (not sure why)

There may be other companies selling spaces on the same day.

Have a look at the Bedford Autodrome website for details.

You could have googled for the info yourselves you know!!! sleep

Greg

I seem to remember [apologies if I've got this completely wrong] that you get your track day insurance as a bonus to your road insurance. If so, who do you use?

I did a L-O-T day at Bedford when I had a TVR which was a lot of fun.

I am presently organising Bedford for Saturday 5th May (Bk Holiday wkend) so if you can't make the Easter Friday one but think you can for 5th May, drop me an email. I sometimes get a discount if the group is big enough.

I insure the car with Comp Car ins. They include 4 td's and then charge 5% of the insured value per aditional day.

I used to have a policy with Chauser who just charged my £25 per td with unlimilted days!!!

Chauser have stopped offering this policy as they got stung badly by costly claims.

There are some companies who will offer single day policies but you'll be looking at about £250-350 for a £35k Noble for the day.

I'm afraid that tracking a noble is a costly exercise!

(thats why I'm doing a Kart season too)

I'm on the reserve list. Wasn't sure I could make it until today by which time it was sold out. May well come along on the day regardless. It's only 20 minutes away and there's bound to be some "no shows" on the day.

You're welcome to give me some more tuition Neil if you don't get out yourself, but I think you're right and will have no trouble getting on.

I'll pack a spare battery for the video!

Well it will pass the time on my cooldown lap, but I'm not sure the car will like going that slowly.

Quite happy to occupy the passenger seat for you Greg.

I'll bring camcorder, mount, SLR and lens too.
