Just curious to find out what the benefits are of spending big bucks on the total engine re-vamp!?
Apart from the obvious.....Speed, power etc...
Will you re-coup some of the money on resale?
Will the car need re tuning on a regular basis if its running at its peak?
Thinking of doing it but would love to know more.
Read the recent post by the fella who had the Roush upgrade and fancied finding out more.
Cheers

You could sell the Noble and buy a Ferrari 430 or Lambo640 and watch them depreciate or spend a fraction of that money on upgrading the Noble and nhave much more fun, call roush you know you want to

Resale money will depend on the buyer at the time of sale. A dealer will say its's not worth as much because it's not original. A private buyer will know what they want and pay accordingly.
Tuned engines / chassis will always require more work than stadard to keep in good order.
But then you get the privilege of owning / driving one of the best drivers cars there is.IMO.
Put some miles on yours over the summer and get the work done when its cold and nasty.
I'm going to have new wheels, brakes and suspension mods done straight away and then maybe get the serious stuff done late autumn.
If there's a roush exhaust available to buy / fit soon I might get that done as well.
You won't find much else out there to compete with a fully sorted M400....except maybe the new Mxx Noble when it arrives in a few months time!!!

So, F.C. when would you like the camber mods and Roush exhaust. Get your order in to Ant/Andy on 01277 261400 and you could have a new exhaust at the end of this week.

Mailed Ant on tuesday no reply yet.
What do the camber mods entail?
F.C.
I want that many! They can have the exhaust back if I get less!
I got 347 bhp in the 1st first roll a few months back. I am told that thats a pretty good figure for a stock car. It just got the spark tweaked (now can not run on less than 97 ron fuel)
I'm hoping to get up to 400 with some mild tweaking.

So what would I have to do to get 400 ponies the cheapest way?
I thought there were loads of 3's with over 400bhp who hadn't spent thousands on getting it?

Mine has 390bhp on the same Rolling road. To get that, have a new exhaust, roush cats, had the cam timing adjusted by Roush, also trevor and his laptop worked his magic at the end. (didnt have the upgraded fuel pump at the time though.) Most of the other 400bhp cars have spent ££££ to get it, (or brought it like that).

How did Twerlie get 425? Did he buy it like that?

There are lots of different bits on Twerlie's car, quite a few of them there when he bought it.
The car only had 365bhp when i bought it, but a Roush exhaust, motorsport fuel pump and a tweek from Trevor and his laptop made it 425bhp...!
...but remember i have different cams and T28's!
