Attention Noble Sellers
Discussion
I've noticed these past few months there have been quite a few cars up for sale BUT they don't appear to be selling. Prices don't seem to be consistent e.g.2.5 for 20-26 thousand with 12-20k on clock or gto3 from 25-33 thousand.
I've been looking aswell for a Noble these past 8 months but yet to find one which i'd pay my hard earned with. My budget ranges from 24-27k. So i'd like to ask anyone wanting to sell on here to email me a pic/details of their car and what they want for it. I'm not a canvasser just want a sensibly priced car. If price and car is right its a sale simple as.

I wonder what a 7 year old M12 with almost 80K miles on the clock would fetch ......
.... not that I've ever sell of course :-)
--Jools
A lot less than my pristine example.
2001
one owner from new
only 11,000 miles
regularly serviced and maintained regardless of cost.

Only the dealers sell the GTO-3's for early thirties and to be honest the car's aren't worth that now. I'd say mid-twenties now. I know u lot are protecting your investment but I've seen about 3 been sold this past 6 months if that. Buyers market bigtime.
I hate to point out the obvious, but how is it a buyers market if you are still waiting for one? If your reference point is PH's adverts having a 'sold' written on them then you aren't really up to speed on the marque. Demand is high, supply is exceptionally low and the dealers do most of the selling.
My dealer would sell his granny to me to get my car, and come trade in time I will get an excellent price just like I did on the M12. I think you'll find unless you are prepared to be a bit more realistic with your budget you'll be posting similar in 12 months time...

Spoilsport!
i'm still waiting for one as they are overpriced and owners aren't prepared to come down on price even when their car hasn't sold for 8 months lol. 25k for a sorted GTO-3 private is not unrealistic at all. I've sold a few cars around 25k and took a few grand hit. oh well its their loss the car will be worth that much less 6 months on.
think you find most dealers can't get rid of the gto-3's for early 30's. agreed 3r's are worth that.

lol, if you haven't found one for 8 months at what you think is the right money, it's pretty clear that your view doesn't match the markets. If you wait long enough though, you might eventually be right, although clearly 2/3rds of a year wasn't enough!

I'd argue that it's your lost since you have not been driving one for 6 months but on the other hand, about 6 months ago I piad the market rate, bought one and have been driving it. I bet I'm happier than you.
There is a flipside to this too. Maybe its the noble owners who are strapped for cash so they aren't prepared to lower their price-ten bob milionaires. And yes Snuffy everytime there's a nice sunnyday i want to go for a blast. my superbike got sold, then R34 GTR and all i have left is an audi diesel. LOL what fun.
Flame suit on lol. I detect incoming

M12Jimmy, your £24-27,000 will get you into a Noble M12 - period!
The chassis, engine output and torque is similar (OK, not identical) across the M12 derivitives in your price bracket (M12 2.5, M12 3.0 & M12 GTO-3R) although you'd have to sit in a 2.5 or 3.0 for that money.
What's the problem - live in your price bracket - go on buy one?!

I bought a 3 last November after much research, concluded it was better paying the right money for the right car than expecting a mint car to come up as a bargain. Don't forget there's not many around, if you want a cheap one there's usually a reason why it's cheap, personally wouldn't settle for second best.
If you've been looking for 8 months you can't have been looking very hard otherwise you would have bought mine first...
Don't expect to offer taking the p*ss money to a Noble owner like you would buying a thousand pound banger, it's your choice if you want an awesome car for the summer or not.
