Tyres...yes I no....Again. But Eagle F1

Has anyone tried the Goodyear Eagle F1's
Seem to be readly avalible and resonable in price

I have them on mine. They have been very good and are outstanding in the wet. I've not been near a track yet though.

I run them on the scooby and they are brill. No info about running them on a Noble though. Fantastic in the wet, which lets face it we get lots of.

I had Eagle F1s on my Esprit GT3 after taking the truely awful PZeros off before they killed me. When my Nob needs new rubber the F1s will be what I shall be fitting.

I bought a Noble and left the road in 11 days....

Not convinced it's anything to do with Eagle F1's though......as they were not fitted to the Noble.....

One day I will learn to drive fast cars.........

I've had 3 incidents of the sidewall tearing on F1's, and i know there's a fair few others that have had the same problem when i asked on a few other forums. 2 of them were on my Skyline GTR, on different wheels at different time, and the other was on another skyline i owned.
They're great tyres, prefer the falken or toyo equivalent, and i always had fun with F1's when they weren't shredded, but i must confess to being put off buying them in future. Perhaps it was just a "dodgy batch"
