Which Road????

Right, the newish Peugeot 206/7 ad where the sat nag keeps going the long way to Glasgow, finishing at the top of what looks to be an awesome piece of road.Down hill, clear open bendy road, looks WOW !! Where is it?? I fancy a trip there in the summer

Already been doing some digging on this...

As far as I can find its a computer generated road with some European hills and mountains in the background... totally gutted as I was thinking of going for a spin there too

All you need to do is drive from here to Italy and take the scenic route down.

id it a few years back and it is the most awesome drive imaginable!!

I think its the route that the PH megahoon and the original Gumballs took.

You go to Modena and see the ferrari, lambo and pagani factories and museums. (at least thats what we did)

Last year a few of us went to the alps, did france, switzerland, italy....alpine passes to die for. We are going agian this year if you fancy joining us...9 days in June..

I would have loved to join you but my daughter gets married this year. Guess which month . Also with the wedding costing me both arms and legs and being unable to sell the wife I'm financially short this year. Apart from the Roush exhaust of course

Another great thing to do is to grab the Motorail (drinks and dinner on the train) -- get up the next morning in Narbonne with the car refreshed ready for the drive over the Pyrenee's down into Barcelona .. awesome roads with a perfect finish and very very quiet .. weekend in Barcelona (where the Noble will be like a hero so be prepared for pavement worship from all the locals) and then do it all in reverse on the Monday with a different route back over the Pyrenee's

Great way to spend 4 days !

Just been reading Autocar 7th Feb edition and in the "Ask Goodwin" a Mr Phill Thompson has asked the exact same question and Colin replies that the road is infact real and in the Italien alps, he states that only the Glasgow sign and the dull scenery have been adjusted.
