Bugger!! Slashed a tyre

Just had the wheels refurbed and just got new tyres. (done 100 miles inc todays blast!)
Went for a lovely long blast today and when a Granny came through a one car width road when she shouldn't have, I did the nice thing a reversed back, but hit a curb only about 5 miles an hour. Thought nothing of it at the time, but when I got home I noticed I've dinged the alloy again
and there is a bloody great cut in the brand new tyre! er. Do you think the tyre chaps will say "You need a new tyre mate" as they always seem to or can I just bung some evo-stick in there and forget about it?
Not a happy boy now!! Really hope the stoopid granny hasn't cost me £150!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are a new set of Perrelli PZero Rosso N4's and they are very good. Not as much grip in the dry as the A048 obviously but there is a good grip level and the wet handeling is blooody impressive.
Guess thats just going to have to be more money spent in the land of Sod!!
If only I knew where the granny lived, I could go and slash some of her tyres.

Yup, from Cambs performance tyres. I chose them for the winter/wet as I have kept the 2 front A048's in the garage to go back on come May/June time and the sun and Trackdays.
Might consider the corsa as an all year round tyre next I guess, but they're still a bloody handful in the winter no? Greg

Especially if it's below 5C! J
Spot on - anything other than deep water is not really a problem for Corsas. Cold however, is.
Cold AND wet is not really to be recommended at all. Greg - you'll find you'll be hitting the bump-stops with sticky tyres with 3R suspension (unless of course you're driving like a wuzz. in which case you won't). If you're not changing the Bilsteins I would stick with the P zeros/rossos (blimey, I'm beginning to sound like Simon H now!)
