Alright, I admit, I'm no mechanic, but where have Noble hidden the battery on the M12???? Anyone.

Ah, I had the problem 1 week after getting mine !!!

Open the back and standing on the driver's side look down and you will see a belt. Look right down towards the floor and you will spy the battery.

Okay, finding it was easy, you're next question will be "How the hell do I get it out ?"

Right down in the bottom of the car near off-side rear wheel. Peer down through the chassis and other gubbins and you will see it. To replace it you need to jack the car up, remove the plate and then struggle and swear for about an hour

But if you want to charge it there are easier ways ... search this forum.

If you want to replace it take it to a friendly garage with a ramp and do it from underneath!

No it's got sod all. You need a charging lead that goes from the cigar lighter in a donor car to the one in the Noble. Turn on the donor car engine and leave to simmer for about half an hour. It should start. Mine did anyway.

If the battery's very flat that'll probably blow the small fuse the ciggy lighter socket has. The 60 amp fuse is easy to get at (up a bit from the battery near the ECU) or I can get a +ve charger lead on the battery. For -ve I just use the engine block.

Or connect the positive to the red starter motor terminal and the negative to the chassis....though someone said this can cause some sort of problem.

As my Chimaera was always loosing the battery charge I was told by the dealer you could safely charge it by
connecting the red lead of the charger to the heavy brown lead on the alternator. The earth could be connected
to any sound metalic component in the engine bay.
I regulary did this with no problem. Can't think why you should not adopt this method on the Noble.

You can have it out in 15 mins if you can get it on a ramp. If you buy a CTEK conditioner then it comes with a lead which connects to the battery terminate it near the rear bulkhead and you just plug it into the mains.
