Anyone ordered the new 3T with 400bhp? Sounds like it could be a nippy motor. Should give those pesky ultimas ans radicals a little run on the track.

Anyone got any more info on this model?

I thought the 3T's were going to be built to order and to the customers specification.

Really? I've only seen pics of the 3R, but it looks very good. I actually prefer the lights on this model too. I wonder if it will be possible to have the 3T motor spec in this 'luxury' 3R chassis. Any ideas?

Also, I wonder if they have any plans to change the rear lights at all. I'm not a big fan of borrowed parts. It's the only thing about the car that annoys me. Maybe one of the specialist will produce a new moulding with little round lights as a replacement. Don't the tvr bods do this?

The 3T is suposedly going to a straight-cut sequential gearbox (pretty nasty to use on the road) to make it capable of handleing more power - a dry sump which will mean no room for any aircon FIA roll cage etc. - I don't think luxury will come into it ! as for numbers their will be very few of them.

400bhp isn't that much power these days. Surely a straight cut box is a little ott.

When I say luxury, all I meant was better leather etc. I wasn't expecting sat nav, cup holders and botty massagers.

Just heard the new 3T will be 65k. Ouch! Not sure it's worth it really - it's almost the same as a GT3. I think it's closest natural competitor would be an S2 elise with the honda conversion (200 -260bhp naturally aspirated) for well under half the price of a noble. Looks like 95% of the fun for not much cash.

I'd reserve judgement until you've driven one.

Yes, I'm sure it must be pretty tasty.
