Well I'll hold my hand up and say I thoroughly enjoyed my ten years of TVR ownership. I had one of the first Chimaeras followed by two Griff's. Thousands of miles of thrilling motoring and the only time one let me down was when the last Griff stopped. The fuel gauge had just crept to E. Ran out of petrol.The gauge was too accurate.
Unlike my Noble which says E with about 18 litres of fuel left.

I'll always remember that when I took the trim off the rear interior boot on my 350i to fix the aerial I found a box of matches and some sandpaper - ah, the quirks of English coachbuilders!
