Air con

Can anyone let me know how well (or not) there air con works. In this recent spell of good weather I am noticing NO difference at all when I turn it on. Thus making it very warm in the cockpit

Mine works fine, drove 400 miles to Somerset and back today, no problems whatsoever

You probably just need the gas recharging. Can you hear the compressor start turning when you push the switch??

If you can't notice the aircon being on at all then you definately have a problem.

I've found the aircon system to be absolutely brilliant. Even with the excellent weather we've been having lately I can't leave the aircon on for too long as it gets soooo damned cold. When you speed up the temperature drops even further. I'm forever adjusting the dial to either warm it up a little or cool it down a bit, the output is extemely variable depending on your driving speed. It's screaming out for "climate control".

At the other end of the scale, the heating is good enough to melt the polar ice-caps. I got stuck in the traffic on the fateful snowy day that brought the country to it's knees. I spent 5 hours in the car and I was forever having to turn the heating down.
