Not that I actually care what the MPG of my M12-3 is, but, out of interest I measured it over the last fill up. I was quite surprised at 22. Does that sound about right ?

On a long run down to Plymouth I pressed on a bit (but not a license killing speeds if you get my drift), and got 23.5 mph. On the way back with lots of time to spare I went not faster than 70, and had a very smooth run. 24mpg. Moral is....we'll you can work that bit out hehe

That was on the old setup. I'm sure it'll be a little worse now.....

My 2.5 from portsmouth to Leicester (160 miles each way) does 27mpg at 80-85mph and 24mpg with the A/C on.

When I say I was surprised at 22 I mean I throught that was good. It was a mixture of motorways, A roads and taking 2 people out to show it off (one was my mother hanging onto the door handle ! ). My Esprit used to manage about 18. At Vmax I worked out it was doing 3-4 mpg.

230-240 is possible. Tank holds 55-60 litres when totally brimmed.

Highway only driving best was 23.8 mpg (21.5-23.8 range) at a "brisk pace". Only a couple of long trips.

Overall average since I've owned it 17.3 mpg including track days and autocrosses.

Excessive when hooning but I don't really care!

Small tank is a pain but saves weight.

When I first got the car I was driving it far too slowly and being too cautious.
Petrol seemed to last forever (relatively speaking) - I seem to remember getting at least 25mpg, possibly more, but my mMemory isn't what it used to be.

..which works out at about 1.5mpg (say 10gal for 15 miles). Nice one Adrian (I wouldn't tell the greenies, though)
