GTO-3R expected delivery

Just heard from my dealer the following info, and thought you might like to know.....

I have talked to the factory today and again they are reluctant to give
build numbers out due to the cars not being built in that exact order. This
depends on when the spec is passed to the factory and what colour paint run
the factory is doing that week, but he did say that your car was number 36.
So placing trust in the shipping and customs on your rolling chassis and
through the red tape at the dock side, we are looking at 5 cars a week and
approximately 7.2 weeks from the suggested factory build start date of 1st
June 2003, so that means early July delivery 2003.

My best guess based on lots of experience with customs is mid-end July at the earliest. It will be worth the wait though

Hmm, forgot that was up there!! Had it fixed a good while ago, and is still running like a beast. Just wished the new one would be around for the annual pilgrimage to Le Mans, but alas, good things come to those that wait, and wait, and wait
