Battery chargers. Question for Joust possibly?
Discussion
Ok so i'm fed up with trying to fuddle about getting crocodile clips onto the battery.
I've decided to buy one of the trickle charger gadgets that you connect to the car when you're not using it and it keeps the battery "conditioned."
You can get them with a cigarette lighter connection but... will this;
a) work,
b) cause any damage to the car?
I'm sure I read something on this some months ago and Joust said he charged his in this way but i've had a search and can't find it.
If anybody uses one of these devices i'd like to know before it break my car!
thanks

I used an Accumate Pro www.accumate.co.uk/it010005.html
You need to get the ciggy lighter adapter - see Optional Accessories; I also got the 2.5m output extension lead.
Just wind the window down a bit to get the lead in through the car window.
No damage, easy peasy.
