So is the M12/400 a current model?
Discussion
Picking up on an unanswered speculation in the New web site thread, is the M12/M400 a "current" model for Noble. The new web site didn't have them as production models. Perhaps the new PR man at Noble might wish to comment? If true I suspect this could have some impact on secondhand prices.

What would this do for availability of spares, i.e. what would be hard to get? Bodywork?

Bodyparts would (assuming Noble HAVE ended the line/s!) be a real issue - I undestand that a car rmanufacturer must keep spares for xx years but this may not appply to the SVA model.
Maybe we should contact SA to either do a deal or buy the moulds?! Getting ahead of myself here!

What do you think - up or down?! I think up.
Er.. I dont think so .. down - firmly down.
If the M400/3/3R were ditched without a potential mk2 in the near future, the prices for the cars out there would likely hold very firm. I doubt they would go down or up.

I'm just about to take delivery of a shiny new M400 so I guess that makes it current.
Not really, wasn't yours ordered months ago? Things move on fast in production.
What concerns me is that, if you were head of a car company, and your business plan included sales of a model line (eg: M12/M400), and a rumour started that maybe you're stopping selling same wouldn't you get a message out the door PDQ to counter that in order to keep the interest level high and the deposits coming in?
It would be possible to make runs of clams and spares.
It would actually be possible to have a run of compasite (carbon) clams made up at about the same price of the OEM clams given that there were orders for 20 sets. I know of 2 such companies that could do this at a resonable cost. (given that they were needed)
I actually think that the M400/3R will not be sold anymore, I wonder what the reaction from the factory would be if you called tham and asked to order one???
I think that PBSaxman might be getting the very last one...................
That may not be a bad thing, but only if an announcement is made pretty quickly about an M12 line successor!

Then again perhaps the reason mine was delayed was indecision about the future of this model and now a decision has been made suddenly mine arrives?? Only offering an alternative scenario.

I'm sure the factory will be along soon as clearly rumour is better than fact. J
When I bought mine dealers had new stock coming in. I actually bought it out of the showroom ready to go. Not aware that has been the case for some time. If the car were in production dealers would be under pressure to buy in stock of some sort surely? I know at one point they were built to order but clearly the last major run of M400's were not, at least not entirely.
Anyway, I don't think it matters a jot whether they continue to make it or not.

Not suggesting that dealers are accurate in their assessment of things but Noble London had "the last 3R to be produced" inside the showroom around 4-5 weeks ago. It was brand new. It was the same 3R which appeared at the motorshow earlier in the summer. Not sure if they've sold it yet.

Like TVR prices have just shot up...?
People aren't going to have too much faith in a manufacturer with no currently shipping products. Especially with the stories of a shut down supply chain that only just came back online.
On the plus side he's got a new investor, who presumably wouldn't have just gone in at this point if he wasn't willing to put some money in and get things rolling again.

If you search then you'll find Stuart Jones was saying 18+ months ago that 3Rs were not being built given the demand for M400s. Given the small £4k difference, 3Rs were hardly attractive against M400s. I'm amazed that this 3R got speced - I can only imagine that it's a cancelled order from a very strange person that wanted a 3R over an M400!
J
If someone wanted one who never intended to track it, then they may see the 3R as a better option. Especially if there were a few around that dealers had been asked to shift.
Re. Used prices. I can't see tham ever going up if the production stops, but it will depend hugely upon the continued success of the marque as to just how fast they go down.
