We are booked down for a Trackday at Snetterton in Novemeber, and are going to make a weekend away from it all - even though Snetterton is only 2 hours away.
We have sorted out where to put clean pants & a tooth brush each, but where do you put your Helmets when on the way to track days? The 'Parcel Shelf' seems a little shallow!!!

yes. Pull the seat forward, put the helmet on the parcel shelf, slide seat back. It fits very nicely.

I fit my open face helmet, over the passenger head reat. It just slides over nice and secure.

No good if you have a passenger though.

The Webmistress has her own (open face) helmet which as you say will fit nicely over the head rest - I guess we'll just have to put mine in the foot well and use it as a foot rest whilst traveling.
As to Hotels, we've not yet booked, Originally I was going for a place in Norwich, But notice there are 1 or 2 in the local villages - any recommendations?

If you want to make a day of it then this is a rather nice suffolk town, not too far from Snetterton.

www.southwold.info/

There are loads of lovely hotels in Norfolk/Suffolk villages.

Just try a googly search.
