you cant drive things on the limit forever without replacing something and if you want to race bikes buy one
Remember a lot of these issues having nothing to do with how it could have been driven, windscreen wipers failing, faulty headlights, water ingress, air con unit to name a few.
The best one I think was a common problem (according to Noble) of the throttle cable sticking, this was the deciding factor for me, I was driving down the motorway and went to overtake someone, the accelerator stuck wide open and I had to get it out of gear and cruise to the hard shoulder ... hmm ... AND THEY KNEW ABOUT THIS! Needless to say I was livid (Accelerator cable runs past a turbo and can melt if it gets too hot/close)
Imagine this happening on a track day? I could not believe that Noble could have known about this and not let their customers know ... I believe its not a big job to re reroute the cable and since I bought this car new from a dealer (where most of the future problems lay) I would have expected it to have been resolved.
As for driving the car like a stole it, well, I don't hide the fact that I drive my cars, but at the end of the day that’s what this car is sold as, a track day car, and since I never actually took it on the track there is no way I should be able to put the same kind of stress as this on the roads! None of my other cars break down!
Some of the other owners have had these problems before, but I don't think anyone has had all of these problems, AND not had them fixed ... every time it visited that dealer it would come back and go wrong again within a week, even the factory could not fix it!
You know it broke down twice on way to sell it ... what a nightmare ...
A lot of people say I should have put up with problems, it was a hand built car, and yes, I probably would have if the dealer where able to fix them, but the fact they could not fix the problems and all I seemed to do was drive back and forwards, well sorry, the RAC would trailer it back and forwards to them it just got a little tiring
i Know these car are made for the track but what iam trying to say is that you cant drive
it at a 110% put in your garage untill the next time do the same again and expect nothing to go wrong thats why racing teams prepare there cars each time they go on track
but i do feel as though you had you fair share of bad luck i just wish you hadnt given up on it

The problem is that although I drove the car, it was certainly not 110% all the time, well you can’t on public roads!
I was more than patient, but when the factory could not fix the problems I though enough is enough. How can I win if even the factory can't put things right?
I think the problem was that parts needed replaced, not "fixing". Stupid things like the windscreen wipers, I mean, every time they broke I had the choice of calling the RAC or waiting for the rain to stop, you can't imagine how annoying this was, and every time they looked at this problem they did not fix it ... ARGGG
At the end of the day the car had a lot of problems and this was going to cost money to fix, no one wanted to pay.

Thats not even 100% in a Noble... I know that for certain, having been in Jousts amazing previous Noble, christ knows what his current one goes/stops/turns like.
It's very funny to see how protective "New owners" are over their choice of car. If WilliamsF1 has not has his car long, then he is in for a shock in the coming weeks and months...when it starts falling apart around him.....I know the truth hurts, but that's life. I am just glad my 911 Turbo is so much more reliable...oh and holds it's value....

No way, not in a million years! I took the advice of lots of folk on here and stuck it out for a long time, but when the factory started to give me the cold sholder I knew there was no hope.
I saw the light and bought a Caterham as the new toy ...
