This is my first posting but have followed much of the ongoing discussions amongst the Noble fraternity and found plenty of useful information. Reason - am about to plunge into buying a 3R having driven one and found it to be sensational - particularly for the money, but would be grateful for any views on residuals before I finally commit.

Also, many owners seem to be based in southern England - does anyone know what the level of interest is in the north west?

There are a few around the North West. I'm in the Macclesfield Area and my last car (M12 GTO3R) went off to a private buyer in Bakewell.
There is no getting away from the fact that any expensive Car will depreciate. If you buy a brand new one from a Dealer and try and sell it back to them in the Winter it will cost you a fortune. If you buy a good used example (around 2 years old or more) that has been properly looked after and then enjoy it you won't do too badly. Selling at the right time of the year is important, and really you need not to rush to sell. It took me a while to sell mine privately before I bought the M400 privately, but it was definitly worth it.

Regards
Richard

Thanks for your feedback. It's very much as I thought. Have spotted a 2 year old car from a dealer with low mileage. Probably paying a little over the odds but full history known so peace of mind.

To be fair, there are very few Nobles without full history.

Martin.

How much is the dealer selling the 3R for? Could have my 2 yr old M400 for £39k. Supplied and serviced at the Noble factory, with recent service and new tyres, discs, pads all round too. It's a bargain, can't believe someone's still not snapped it up.

Am waiting to hear but probably £40k. 2 yrs old, 4k miles and 12 month warranty. This is my first venture into Noble ownership and not looking to roll my sleeves up to much on the mechanical side so this element is important.

No sleeves requiring rolled for my M400, it's running 100%......I'm North West too, well sunny Glasgow.
