Leaks!

I seem to have a leak in my M12. A guy who sorted out the alarm previously noted that there was some rust on my stereo so suspected there may have been a leak and thanks to the recent rain I can confirm he is right. The water seems to be in the footwell but hasn't come from the doors and from what the stereo guy said would appear to be coming from the front. Before I pay someone loads of money to go looking, have any of you fine folks experienced similar problems and can point the likely suspect area?

Around the heater box is always a good starter.

Yep, most likely in the heater box. Although if its rain related, it's unlikely to be a leak in the matrix or anything. Look for a crack in the top of the box or anywhere around the windscreen wiper mechanism.
