i'm tempted to have a go at making some Noble Key fobs

the idea is a machined aluminium fob that says noble - or m400 etc - machined into the aluminium

the idea is you would hacksaw off your old key and bond it into the new Fob with some araldite or similar

anyone interested ?

I would have visions of the end of the key breaking off in the lock! eek

I quite like that the such a humble looking little key unlockes such a beautiful beast!

I'm not fussed about people seeing it down the pub.

Listen...Ford spent millions developing that key system because the old one was a joke...it works. However, replacing the black plastic part with a bespoke billet alloy top should do the aesthetics no harm. cool

Nice thought gadget I think a two piece alloy / cf "clam" that slips over the existing key and maybe allen bolts to hold it together would look great....
