air intake on M400

the air intake on the M400 is a bit bigger

however does it do anything ? - the m12 one is just a feed to a couple of pipes that don't really do much

If you mean the side intakes..........no they just suck in warm air from the front radiator. if you drive along and put your hand on the grill you can feel it.

The 400's have an oil cooler in the o.s. pod don't they ?

Yes. You can imagine how hot that gets....

Is it not actually an oil heater?

Mine was actually on top of the battery, i had it moved into the pod.
