Possible M12 Purchase

Hi All just after some advice really, im currently looking for a Noble M12 GTO and was wondering what points i should look out for when going to view one and is there anything to look out for?

If it's a 2.5 the 2 main things to look for is has it had the fans upgraded they should sit on a shroud not bolted straight on the radiator and Check the ECU has been upgraded to a MBE not MM.

Go and get one you will not regret it!!!

Oh and a trackday sump is essential if you plan to track it!!!

Go to one of the reputable servicing agents (vegantune, plans - some others will be mentioned doubtless.

They'll give you chapter & verse (if given permission) on most of the cars for sale.

Im still in 2 minds as im only 20 although insurance isnt really a problem, can they be used daily and what are the running costs like?

I use mine daily (even in the snow once!) unless I have to carry more than one passenger, it's snowing, I need lots of lugage space. I have no idea how many MPG but it's about the same as my Merc S500 judging from costs of journeys in fuel. Servicing is fixed price £6 - 800 per service once per 6000 miles - I always spend a few hundred extra - usually on toys. Mine has had about £1500 of unscheduled repair / maintenance costs in 3 and a bit years. Tyres are about £120 each when you shop around.....

It's a super car - expect to pay a little extra to fettle it BUT it doesn't cost that much more than, say, a big BM to run.

20 and insurance isn't a problem? How do you manage that one? Im 21 and still have to pay a shed load to drive waggons. Oh praise the day when im allowed to drive decent cars on the road.

You need to drive one first, then consider if you can afford it after. There won't be much consideration.

Its a drug this Nobility stuff.
