Roughly how many nobles..........
Discussion
Can anyone help I was just wondering if anybody knew roughly how many 2.5L nobles were manufactured and did they make a similiar amount in the 3.0L version not the 3r. Its just that I have been searching for a while now and their doesnt seem to be many nobles about to buy
Guessing this is because they are so good no-body wants to part with them.

I know but the they dont seem to have the spec Iam after it is the 3.0L which is going to be within my price range, would love the 3r but a bit pricey and the 3.0L models on their are just over my budget their was a nice 3.0L titanium noble with registration WACKO on it for £29,500 and it was sold within a day of being on PH I missed out again its stressing me out I really want one.

My GTO3 is number 190. What number did 3r's start at and ditto M400's ? Just curious as to how many have been made.
As I understand it, in the UK were almost exactly 100 2.5's made, some of which have now been converted to 3.0ls. Then there were roughly another 100 3.0ls made, the last of which were available at the same time as the 3Rs.
I could of course be talking tosh...... but those are the numbers in my mind

Sounds about right. My GTO3 is #129 and was originally supposed to be a 2.5. The first 3Rs appeared not long after.

From memory 3.0's continued the 2.5l numbering scheme, 3R's started at 1 again, as did M400's.
There are about 100 2.5's as Trevor says, not sure on the 3.0l. There are nearly 1000 cars in total given the 250 per year (early M12 production was much lower, my car No. 26 was nearly 12 months after the first) out there, quite a few in the US now.
The VIN is the easy way to tell - Jools (where is he, he's more 'up' on this than me) has a list somewhere from memory as the factory told him what was valid for the owners club.
At some point the numbering changed to be written on the shocks, I think all the M400's have it on there as well.
As for why there are few around, wrong time of the year. The Noble is a good feeling car, and with this weather people aren't going to part with it....
