Might be looking at the Yellow Noble at Williams in Bristol at the weekend and need a bit of advise.

1. How reliable are they, also looking at a TVR Cerby.
2. Servicing costs and intervals.
3. Have a 16 month old girl, how do I convince the other half.
4. Insurance, how much and where from. 28 years old, live in devon, garaged etc
5. Garage, up a bit of a slope, my scoob goes up ok and a TVR chimera 'JUST' fits by a couple of mm
6. What should I look for, problems and any other info please.

Thank you in advance for any info.

[JF}
Very in the main. See my profile for costs.

2. Servicing costs and intervals.

[JF]
1000 ~ £100
Then every 6000 - £250 upwards depending on what you want done.

3. Have a 16 month old girl, how do I convince the other half.
[JF}....err - donno

4. Insurance, how much and where from. 28 years old, live in devon, garaged etc
[JF]Try Tescos, A-Plan, Footman James etc. Ring them up now - they'll give you a quote even without a car - expect about £1k upwards.

5. Garage, up a bit of a slope, my scoob goes up ok and a TVR chimera 'JUST' fits by a couple of mm
[JF}If a TVR fits you should be OK - if your near by the garage - take it to your house on the test drive!

6. What should I look for, problems and any other info please.
[JF]Read this group's articles - most has been covered on here.

Markys,
Not sure if yellow is your thing. But if it isn't checkout my car it's for Sale at the moment - see the the pistonheads classifieds section. It's Lotus Azure blue and has Half Leather trim It does have 4300 miles on the clock, however if reliablity is your concern it still has 7 months warranty remaining. With the saving on mine you could buy even more a waranty + mine has a tracker fitted.
Oh and the reason I'm selling mine is that I have the option of my buying a new one at less than list.

Edited to say mines going for 43k for pistonheaders!

I see they want 44,950 for it. Interesting to see what dealers think they can sell Nobles for second-hand. 2 other dealers have used M12s for almost 50,000.

I guess colour is personal....

As a former Chim owner and now a Nobler I think you might have a problem as the M12 is substantially lower. Whereas the Chim would easily ride up my driveway the Noble grounds out in several places. However in saying that, catching the front splitter sounds a lot worse than it actually is.....

However i don't think this should stop you joining the fold !

I have a child seat fitted sometimes to take my daughter to kindergarten. Isn't a perfect fit but works ok (the main issue is that the thingy where you put the seat belt in is on a longer stalk and pointing forward).

Actually my daughter usually falls asleep when she comes with me - now this could either be because I am not going fast enough or she has a very good sleep

Now this could be also something to convince your wife that it can be a very comfortable car - although you would have to choose which of the two you take with you.
