Ford engine totally reliable and seemingly everything else besides
ECU problems on early 2.5's...most have since been upgraded...costs will mostly concern tyres, brake pads, wheel bearings and the like.
budget £1-2k per annum and around £500-£1k for insurance
Vegantune a good bet if you want value for money maintenance from a group of really fanatical and capable individuals

Even depreciation is now light on the older cars! (mine's only lost a few grand in two years of motoring)
