After a year of humming and hawing I have finally taken the plunge and bought myself a Noble, the 2.5ltr variety in Titanium.The 6 hour drive back up to Bonnie Scotland was an absolute pleasure even with the frequent stops for some of Shell's finest.
What a car, totally blown away, can't stop smiling, or driving for that matter.Watch out for a few dumb questions in the near future..
Anyway must go and find someone with a welder to repair the chocolate exhaust bracket...
By the way, excellent forum, the information I have gleamed from here is what gave me the confidence to go and buy....

Congratulations and welcome, I have had my 2.5 for a few months now and can't get enough of it. although it's not doing my back any good!! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine!!

At the risk of promoting another debate on the issue:
re: Shell's finest....I am normally a penny pincher at the pump... but I have to admit Optimax is worth the outlay...while ordinary unleaded will do the job, Optimax does it better...and then some (also looks after the engine better I believe!)

Whilst it's true that the engines are mapped for 95, wouldn't you want the best for just 2-3ppl more? Heck, you are talking about £20 per year difference..... (12000 miles, 22mpg).

?? Slightly more than £20 pa; 2-5ppl= 9-22.5p/gal (and if you can find Optimax only 2 p more than regular -tell me where!! 5ppl extra I would have thought is more common)545 galls per year = £49 - £122 pa extra. But the conclusion is the same - sparkly clean internals for less than the price of an oil change.

Shell Bere Regis was 3ppl different last week, and Shell Sanderstead is generally 2p-3.5p different depending on how they feel. However I have seen 4-6p on occasions, so let's say £100 a year? It seems a small price to pay on a £60k car.....!!!!

Nope, the M400 also, that is why I upgraded to a Roush, and the only reason, honest. The added performance and the noise had absolutely NOTHING to do with it.
