Any former Boxster owners?? Advice needed please
Discussion
Only had the Boxster 'S' for 9 months but the need for more speed has got me seriously considering trading it in for a used/new M12.
I need some advice though, ideally from Noble owning former Boxster owners who had the sports chassis option fitted to their car. Where I live in Essex most of the roads are very poor and the stiffer suspension is just not suitable. My main worry is that the Noble will be no better and I just wont enjoy driving the car. So, my question is, has anyone had any experience of both cars that could help dispel my fears?

Surely you need advice from a current Noble owner.
Does your 'S' have the Sports Suspension? I deliberately didn't get it on mine as the combo of sports suspension and 18" rims was..errrr...too backside pummelling for me.
If its the need for speed you are after surely you want something with more serious grunt? After all..you already have one of the best handling road cars there is.
joust's Noble (when I saw it) was utterly wonderful. But might you be more interested in, say, a Tuscan S. I'm afraid it'll crash as much as your S in the potholes and so on - but boy they go like stink! And if its that power/speed thing you're after....????

Thanks Don
Haven't ever driven a PB over the bumpy stuff...
The Noble actually copes very very well with the bumpy stuff. I've never had it "crash" into a hole, and whilst, yes, the ride is firm it certainly is very pliable.
Best thing, as always, is to run a test drive. If you can get down to Mole Valley they have some very very bad roads around the back of them that makes up the test drive - you can then make your own choice.
As for speed - well, yes *cough* - there isn't much that keep up with it through 2nd, 3rd and 4th
