speedo intermitent

Hope someone can help out in my GTO 3 today for about 1hour 20 mins in the speedo stopped working after another 10 mins just started again, any idea what it may be

Water normally. Washed it or got it really wet?

I left it out in the snow fall the other day, but just been out in it again and stopped working now totally any ideas

I'd say its broken!


Sensor in the front offside wheel hub needs replacing or adjusting. Mine did it (as most do - hence the odd car thats 3 years old with 1000 miles )

I had the dealer fix it immediatly and its been fine since. You can try a hair dryer on it to warm out the moisture thats most likely to be in there stopping it from working. It is the threaded little butt that po0ints towards a slotted metal disc in the wheel hub.
