M12 GTO3 - 2003
38
£599.55 (Ah yes, but I have a £1,250 excess, Full No Claims, no points on my licence, 10,000 mile limit, I garage it overnight and I insure the wife on it - some insurers actually discount if there is a couple insured rather than just a loony testosterone lad on his own - I thought it was the testosterone that got you the bird in the first place )

Tesco - every little helps

£1045 Directline protected NCB
8 years NCB

Now the most important bit (which most people don't seem to be stating) garaged in Central London E1W.

Generally your postcode governs your insurance bill unless you're really young or smash up your cars regularly.

I'm only paying £125 more than I was on my Elise S1, and the 3R is 2 insurance groups higher and 3 x the value. I was quite chuffed with that.

How kind
If you keep getting fatter you don't get wrinkles which helps retain the boyish good looks
