It's not that the M12 is like chewing gum, its that the M15 has been designed from the ground with a completly different set of requirements.
One of the things I noted when sat in the M15 was they way in which they had liberated space wich was redundant in the M12, and created space where there was none before.
Comparing the M12 and the M15 does not make any sense really. It's a toally different car.

Yes and the following amazed me in the magnificant M15...
- That digital change-up light array on the steering wheel!
- That engine note - woah!
- The lack of a gear-selector - I looked for it for ages!
- That huge targa-roof section - and somewhere to store it too - at last!
- Those superb gull-wing doors!
- That amazing Silver colour - Bellisimo!
... and all that with a ten-year/100,000 mile warranty - amazing value!

M15 is a 100% NEW chassis.
Consequently the figure comes from testing the torsional stiffness of the M12 and the M15 and then just comparing the figures.
To say "what's changed" is a bit like saying "what's the difference between a F575 and F430 chassis wise"
The figure is just there to tell you that the M15 is super stiff, although if you've seen the figures for the M12 you could hardly call it "wobbly"!
