I thought you lived near Bedford?
Yes the one near Godmanchester west-bound on the A14.
I'm meeting a couple of mates who are LOT members there, we normally head up the A14 to the Thurston junction (A43 I think???) instead of going cross-country as it is normally quicker.

I think heading to St Neots and then out on the b roads is quickest for me.
Also I would prob leave home at 7.45 and get there at 8.30. Is that not early enough?
I am gutted its also a LOT day. I looked and they did not list it so I booked with Easytrack. Ooopsy. (missed out on the benefits of being an LOT member)

Anthony, I suggest you look at the map.!! 
Thurleigh is about 5 miles west of St Neots.
Bedford is about 15 miles south west of Bedford.
You have been going a crazy route mate. (I did the same first time I went!)
Neil and Ant, Can I suggest meeting at the market place car park in St Neots at 8 on the Sat am? This is where I always meet others for the Northants runs etc. Very easy and thurleigh is a 20 mins run from there along nice roads.

Will need to meet Washy at the Market place (or just past it) at about 7.50 so if I meet you guys at 7.30 at the BP garage on the cg roundabout that'll give us 15 mins to get to St. Neots.
Then we can all follow Washy to BAD as I have only been that way once. I can however say that its def quickest and quite a nice loosener for the motor!

Follow me?! You speak of a different route to the one I normally use! I run from Buckden out toward Kimbolton then down through Riseley. What I think you're suggesting, St Neots to Bolnhurst, Cross End, Thurleigh, works though and will certainly be a quick run. I get my new shopping car Thursday so maybe I'll run a recce on the route (need to get it run in anyway!)
