I didn't think yours was MUCH louder than mine with the cats in. With them out the tester would have to be in a special bunker for you to pass

If Bedford is at all local, they will test you for free if you ring up and make an appointment.

I failed last time i was at bedford, i was at 102db. so i think the limit is 101!!!
Still let me in and just said to watch out for the meter on the straight before the pit corner.
Mine is not a standard exhaust.

Alex is right, here are the correct limits :

As a reminder there are two noise limits at Bedford – a static one of 101db and a drive by which is 87db at 20 metres.

As he says it is only really the drive by they get excited about as long as static isn't ridiculous.

Loud exhausts and trackdays are pretty much mutually incompatible unless you just cherry pick noisy days which limits you rather a lot.

Would be good to see you there !

The LSD does make the car understear, which never used to happen with the open diff.

However should you touch a white line in the wet, you'll be glad you've got an LSD fitted !
