Can someone 5 foot drive an M12

Ok, it might sound like a silly question but my pocket sized woman is only an ickle 5 foot and a quarter inch. Can the seat on an M12 slide far enough forward to operate the pedals properly?

There is a modification available to the rails to allow the seat to go further forward.

For my 5.6" wife we had to move the seat rails forwards. Your wife would possibly have trouble seeing over the dash properly etc

I'm sure it could be sorted, but whether it would fit your afterwards I don't know.

If it helps I went to a track day last year and 2 ladies turned up who had won a track drive in a Noble M12 as a prize. They both struggled to see over the dash even with cushions and did not particularly enjoy the day. Worth tring out at a dealers before booking.

Hmm thats odd.
Last year at Mallory park I was asked to take out 2 ladies who'd won a competition but the guy offering the drives car was broken so would I do the honours. They both said they loved it.
Would it be the same 2?

You could get the seat rails moved forward to allow them to reach the pedals but you'd then be way to close. It worked for my 5'6" partner, but he was never happy with it and hardly ever drove the car - not least the seatbelt then tends to try and chop your head off!

My ex was 5"3', and I had the rails adjusted and had an insert made for the seat to lift her up.

The factory did the rails and I can't recall who did the seat booster. I think it was someone the factory knew.

She really enjoyed driving the car, and had no problem seeing over the dash. However parking was a bit of a struggle.

A lot depends upon the leg:torso ratio of the driver in question. Either way, we have two methods of dealing with this. First is to simply relocate the driver's seat further forward, which involves around 1.5hrs work at the factory or your nearest Noble dealer (if it's a car that's already built). The only slight downside with this is if you are particularly tall, since it may restrict your own legroom even with the seat fully back.

Alternatively, we can boost the height and forward position of the seat using tailor-made, contoured cushions, trimmed to match the seats in your car. These have Velcro fixings, so can be easily removed for driver changes.

Either method is effective and I've yet to turn someone away because we've not been able to get them comfortable in the driver's seat. Please ring or e-mail me if you require more information.

Thank you for your reply. I'm 6' 1" so it's fair to say there is a height difference. I'm not looking to buy a Noble (yet!) as house purchase sadly loos, but after the bricks 'n' mortar issue is dealt with then I'll be looking to get one and I will be in touch regarding the modification. The car would have been using is already built so I'll need to think of something else for Valentine's Day. I think she'll now be pleased that she will be able to drive mine when I get it.

As for the Fisher Price option
