OK, I've got the three main elements of the ownersclub website up and running.

1) the website itself.
2) gallery site, for uploading images.
3) BBS site for all the chat.

However I need some input for the categories to create, so we can start getting some content onto the site.

Feel free to post comments, and ideas. I have 1 1/2 weeks off work which I'm dedicating to getting things rolling.

If you want it, ask now !!!!

Just a suggestion, but it seems that the catagories on the US Noble Forums site:
www.nobleforums.com/
do a pretty good job of defining the major areas of interest for owners and visitors who post on the site.

Are people interested in 'in depth' articles.

Articles about social events.

Information of products.....

The list is pretty endless, however I'll focus attention on the things that people are the most interested in.

Good point. I'll take a look and see how they have set things out.

I'd suggest, if he's happy, building on Justin's sites. His NobleTV would be sensible to incorporate into the new nobleowners site as it it has loads of content and saves your doing it all again.

Jools,

Just checked out the new site for the first time. All looks great, very well done and thank you for doing it for us all!

One question. Is the forum on there now an independant one to this? I thought we discussed using the "other" one Ted setup so we did not have to always log in and check 2 different sites everytime. What do you think?

Love the format of it all, its going to be a great resource for all!

Well, it all depends what you want to talk about ... :-)

The owners club site will have a discussion forum, for owners only.

Which means that when the owners club wants to discuss in private we can, as the PH site is open to all.

It's not set in stone how things will end up, as I only got the site up and running last week, so over the coming months we'll see how things pan out.

Thanks for your kinds comments too !

I've had a few late nights getting it all setup up !

Okdokey. Lets have another chat the night before the owners day.

I will be trying to keep off the sauce so it might be a more productive chat than the last one!

How about keeping the sauce to a minimum mate as hangovers and trackdays don't mix!

Sounds like a good idea.

We can discuss the Ts&Cs for members and our master plan to take over the world.

Should'nt take long (taking over the world...)

Just one thought - how are you going to tell if an owner is an owner, or did you mean it will be private to paid up owners club members (i.e. like the old Lotus Owners Club forums)?

The owners club has three categories.

1) Owner member - You have to supply a VIN.
2) Associate member - Just want to be part of the club. Mostly for people who are waiting for cars. Will be upgraded free of charge to Owner Member on presentation of a VIN.
3) Associates - People who wish to be part of the club, mostly offering services.
