So I go away for a weeks holiday and am itching to get onto PH again. Get back home and today, have just spent an hour getting my mothers pre-historic PC hooked up to the net only to find but a single page of posts have been made in my absence!!

Wherethe hell have you all been?

Anyway, Merry Chrimble too all and its nice to be back after nearly being eaten by sharks in the red sea all week! (pics/proof soon on the photo bit!!)

Got back at 4am on xmas eve and was thrashing the Noble about the cambridgehire b roads at 8 am!

The best Xmas pressie I had was finally finding out what was making the terrible crunching rattle that had been spoiling the fun since I got her back from thefixers. All cured and lovely again now!

Did manage a wheel spin and tail slide changing down from 5th to 4th at 80 mph, and yes I think I did soil my y fronys!

Can't go I'm afraid, big family Xmas.

Tomorrow will be spent as today was, eating too much and drinking a large concoction of all things alcoholic.

Thinking about it now, I am actually rather drunk.

Day after boxing day I have an aunty an uncle a sister and brother in law all to take out for a spin in the fast car.

(and my 18 month old newhew if allowed )

Hope you all have a good day tom, orrow.

Obes, bang the vid cam in the screen mate!

Hi Greg,

Good to have you back from the shark infested waters of the Red Sea ! We were out diving at Sharm just over a year ago - did you dive the Thistlegorm ? My best diving experience to date - simply stunning!

Did the Brothers and Elphinstone from Marsa Alam on the Sea Searpent live aboard boat. Had a great time and completed my Nitrox course.

Excellent diving with lots of sharks. Saw Silkys, threshers and lots of these mean machinec.

My buddy took this shot while I was cowering behind him. (and its on a 10mm lens!!!)

That looks like the aquarium screen saver. Are you sure you didn't take that sat in front of the PC?

The poop in my wetsuit should prove it!! If you give it a bit for my buddy to post me the cd rom, there is a great one of me and said shark face to face!!

Great trip, not the best vis ever but good corals and lovely night diving!

Is this a car forum? Where is the diving section?

Just got back from Little Cayman. What a shock to the change in temperature. !!

Did'nt see any sharks along the reefs, but just about everything else.

Speed limit on Little Cayman is 25mph (It's only 1 mile wide x 10 long) and the policeman (whose name is Simon and the only Policeman on the island) was out with his radar gun on Christmas eve and pulled a driver. His only bust that year.

Happy New Year to one and all, and safe and happy Noble'ing.

Cheers,
Ian.

You have to watch out over there, while they can't endorse your licence the speeding fines really are steep.
Well that was a warning I was given after a journey taking slightly less time than was sensible, in my "Drive it like you stole it." Chevy rental a couple of years ago.
I had been lucky enough to get onto a "Shark Dive" with Ocean Fronteirs out at the East End, just before they stopped running them. However the dive was oversubscribed and I was on standby, so when they rang me, I was actually out on Eagle Ray Pass, with Red Baron Divers out of Govenors Harbour - Opposite side of the island.
As a result I had missed the shuttle service they were running from Seven Mile Beach, but despite that and a detour via the condo to collect my C-Card and log book, still arrived at the centre before them....
The best advice for driving out there is ....Easy on the loud one....
