Noble M12/400 vs Evora 400?
Discussion
I’ve never had a hankering for an Evora. But I’ve got an Exige alongside the Noble. Some would say I should get rid of the Noble and just enjoy the Lotus. Fact is, they’re both great in their own - slightly different - way. If you’ve got the chance to own a Noble, do it. Very special car.
After 17 years with my M400 I thought long and hard about changing it for something " slightly " more practical last year. The only thing that came to mind at the right money (had to be lightweight/two seats, bit different/special etc) was an Evora GT410 Sport. It looked good, was nice enough inside, and very practical compared with the Noble but the test drive (it was wet so that didn't help) left me a bit unbothered. It wasn't explosive like the M400, felt far more main-stream/generic,and you could even feel the small extra weight, (as light as it still is in relation to most cars). I always felt that although it ticked a lot of boxes,I'd quickly regret selling mine and finding another was unlikely.
If it was my only car though, the GT410 Sport may well have won me over, and may do in the future if things change.
Both hidden gems of a car.

Help!
I've mulled over the idea of buying an M12/400 for some time and reached the conclusion I should buy one.
Then some idiot suggested tha a Lotus Evora 400 might be an alternative.
Convince me either way please!!!!!

Could you check your spam folder, I don't think you're getting my e Mail.
I have had my 3R Noble for 9 years now and still shocks em with its ability (mine runs 400/400) but the handling is amazing. Lee Noble was a design genius that should of gone into business with Wheeler from TVR .
Anyway ive driven an Evora Sport410 when i had the same thought... I drove it flat out instantly with no shock or surprise, that told me everything. If it is boring on a test drive, then it will only get worse over time. I'd still like to try the Evora GT430 but im not sure it would match the Noble
For me, i was thinking about an Emira with AMG 4-pot, then you can map it to 430, or throw on bigger turbo's and reach 500.
But overall, this side of a GT3RS, you wont find a better drivers car than the Nob
