The New Nobles

The new cars break cover today at the motor show but we've managed to secure these preview shots.

Here they are - the new Nobles. The new GTO-3R with the twin headlamps, fancywheels and 3 litre twin turbo engine. The more revolutionary model is the M12GTC convertible. It's not just the roof that has changed there, the frontvalence has also had a makeover to improve the balance of the design. Theroofless car looks great - we suspect the changes to the front of the GTC willbe the subject of some debate however.

Very nice! Dear Father Christmas.....

Do the hard top models have a full roll cage (and hence does the convertible lose it)?

I do think the convertible would benefit from faired in lights though.

I always thought the worse thing about the Noble was that rear wing, the car looks stunning with out it imho. I think the new cars also have a 3.5l lump now, 340bhp....like it needed more ;o)

Yes - current Nobles have a roll cage as standard.

New engine is 3.0L as opposed to previous 2.5L - Still waiting to find out whether new engine has the distinctive wastegate whoosh or not.............

They should make it a no-cost option to have either atmospheric or recirculating waste gates / dump valves.

Or even better, have ones with two-way valves so you can choose.
