Hi Guys Please can you help. I have a 2002 (52) Noble M12 GTO 2.5L .I have had it tested on a rolling road recently and it is only running 240Hp. The car seems to be running ok from what i can tell it doesn't sound ruff. My car has only done 20000miles it has had thousands spent on on in its life ( Not By Me ) It has lots of pro alloy upgrades done. Is it possible it was re mapped but has be scrubbed off. I have no idea any suggestions on how to get some horses back would appreciate. Thanks

It could be any number of things from a boost leak to cracked exhaust manifolds.
You'd need to give us some more details before we could help to narrow it down for you.

Do you have the dyno graph with AFR showing?

Is it still running the Marelli ECU (behind off side rear wheel panel). When I bought mine it was 4yrs old and only 12k miles. Only made 260-280bhp. The original ECU goes out of cal and unfortunately they can’t be remapped so it’s a new ECU 2-3k I’m afraid. However after this and if you add a sports exhaust you can be 370bhp (don’t go more than this without forged pistons) my 2.5 is now 467bhp and should soon be 500bhp if all goes well. 😊

Hi Guys thanks for the replies
Here are some photos of the engine bay and a photo of the dyno graph
I will have a go at taking the wheel and the cover off to see what ecu I have
Fingers crossed it isn't the worst one.

If you ya e the Dyno plots. What were the AFRs? Because if it was anything like mine then it will be running rich.

It is possible to remap the MBE ECU, but it might be a tad difficult in the current climate...

Ok thanks yellow shed I understand
when do you think it would be possible?
what would be a rough cost to do this?
What sort of power would be possible from the remap ?

sorry for all the questions

Kind regards David

My mapper has started taking work. I’m booked in for 22nd June so Yellowshed must be able to soon. It’s not as if it can’t be done and social distancing rules applied.
