After heater box fan started vibrating, i have stripped the heater box down and found that one of the centrifugal fans has melted caused by the resistor pack overheating. i presume the fan must have been stuck at some point with the fan speed switch on 1 or 2.
I have a new aluminium heater box from Andy De Becker will need a complete new motor unit which I believe is Land Rover JNB10080 or in fact, because my motor is fine, i just need one of the centrifugal fans which are a push fit on the motor shaft. I don't believe thay are avaliable separately from the blower unit.
I know most guys are now on Facebook, unfortunately I am not, and Andy told me a few people have changed over to the Spal fan, so there may well be some old motors around. If any of the regulars read this could they ask around if anyone has an old blower motor with one good centrifugal fan on it? It is just the one fan I need. I am very happy to pay a reasonable price for a fan. Thank you to anyone that can help

Just noticed today my email address is an old one in my profile!! Have emailed J Mansfield to change it, hope that is the correct procedure. In the meantime if anyone can help can they just post on this thread please. Getting the idea I should get a Facebook account like everyone else, would make things easier

I have managed to locate a centrifugal fan second hand, so on to reassembly
of the new heater box. Thank you to anyone who had a search through their garages for me
